Texas Technician Traps Himself in ATM, Here's How He Brilliantly Saved Himself
A fool and his money are soon parted. That may be how the timeless saying goes, but this was not the case in a recent incident involving a Texas man who found himself stuck quite intimately with oodles and oodles of money.
He was trapped in an ATM for about two hours! Here's what we know about how the incident went down: A contractor in Corpus Christi, Texas, entered the ATM room at a Bank of America for some repairs. He got locked inside, and realizing he left his phone in his truck, he started sliding hand-written notes through the machine's slot for receipts.
People thought it might be a joke, but eventually, police were called and arrived at the scene to get the man safely removed from the ATM room.
"Sure enough, we can hear a little voice coming from the machine...You'll never see this again!" said Officer Richard Olden of Corpus Christi Police to KRISTV.

We're grateful he was rescued swiftly, but we remain curious about one thing: The technician left his cell phone in his truck but he managed to have a pen on him? Talk about so darn lucky, y'all!
