You’ve probably never heard of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, and that’s just fine by the roughly 5,000 residents who live there. Located 30 miles south of Jackson, the small town proudly proclaims its greatest asset on its website, “hometown charm plus capital city accessibility,” and that’s pretty much all you need to know.
Crystal Springs happens to be home to a charming Victorian-style home that recently caught our eye. The Copley House was built in 1866 and is currently registered on the National Register of Historic Places. The 3,781-square-foot home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sweeping front porch that makes our Southern hearts beat faster. It also needs a bit of work, but then again, you would too if you were more than 150 years old.
