A Mysterious New Christmas Movie is Looking for Extras—But There’s a Catch
We'll meet you in Michigan!
If you’ve ever dreamed of appearing in a Christmas movie, now’s your chance!
According to NBC25, a national production company is looking for extras to star as local townspeople in a holiday production based in the country’s most adorable Bavarian town (outside of Helen, Georgia, of course).
But, your shot at the silver screen comes with a catch: you have to be willing to travel. The movie is set to be filmed in and around Frankenmuth, Michigan, particularly the Christmas-themed wonderland that is Frankenmuth River Place Shops.
The movie is set to air on television during the 2019 Christmas season. Producers are reportedly looking for talent of all ages, ethnicities and genders to be featured as Christmas shoppers and townspeople. Unfortunately, the work is unpaid, though we have a feeling the experience will be rewarding in other ways.

The remaining shoots will take place Wednesday, March 13, through Saturday, March 16, at the outdoor shopping center. Anyone interested in participating should email their name, availability and headshot to firstname.lastname@example.org.
