Snag a $2 Chocolate Glazed Dozen at Krispy Kreme with Purchase of Any Dozen Doughnuts This Friday

Here's a true story: Today I started my morning with a dozen Krispy Kreme Reese's Doughnuts and from the time my teeth sunk into that first bite of the Reese's Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Doughnut to the last smack of my lips all of my troubles were forgotten. That is, to say, of course, that a Krispy Kreme doughnut has the power to make everything better, at least for a few fleeting minutes.

Now, it looks like I'll be placing another Krispy Kreme order come Friday as the company recently shared that Friday, July 31st, they'll be hosting a "Thank Goodness It's Chocolate" ("TGIC," as the brand has dubbed it) celebration to toast two years of stores offering their Chocolate Glazed doughnuts once monthly on Friday. The sweet deal? With the purchase of any dozen doughnuts this Friday, you can score a $2 Chocolate Glazed dozen. The offering is available at select U.S. shops and you can learn more information or search for a participating shop near you here. Worth noting: While you can order Chocolate Glazed doughnuts through Krispy Kreme's website and app for pickup or delivery, those orders are not eligible for the $2 special offer. (Earlier this year, Krispy Kreme launched nationwide delivery within 10 miles of their shops.)

If you feel safe venturing to the store, you can pick up your doughnuts by grabbing in-shop takeout or through the drive-thru. Currently, all Krispy Kreme employees are required to wear a mask and gloves during their shifts and guests are encouraged to wear masks if they visits stores as well.
