WATCH: The Rundown on Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Post Fixer Upper Plans
Even though we no longer have new episodes of Fixer Upper to look forward to on Tuesday nights (sniff, sniff), Chip and Joanna Gaines' pop culture reign is hardly over.
If you're already experiencing Gaines withdrawal, fear not! The shiplap queen and her demo-loving hubby have plenty of projects up their sleeves. In addition to running their new breakfast spot, Magnolia Table, and preparing for baby number five, the HGTV power couple is also busy working on a few more exciting endeavors. With the same name as her new restaurant, Joanna's first cookbook, Magnolia Table, has been in the works for some time now. The book, which is available for pre-order now, includes 125 of Joanna's family recipes with an emphasis on homegrown, seasonal produce at the peak of its flavor. Find it in stores starting April 24th—just in time for Mother's Day.
A Design Book:
Details on Joanna's first-ever design book are slim, but we have no doubt it will be an instant classic. Jo has offered a few tantalizing glimpses at the book over the past few months, although a title and release date remain unknown. "I unpack many different looks and styles in this book and give a deeper look into the design process and where to start with your space," she recently teased on her blog. "I can't wait to share this project with you, and I will keep you posted on when it will be available."
A New Series:
HGTV recently began showing Joanna's new show, Behind the Design, which will provide viewers with a more in depth look at how she comes up with her designs from beginning to end.
A Store for Chip:
Last year it was reported that after the success of "Chip's Corner" Chip is getting his very own storefront in Magnolia Market at the Silos. The Chip silo will be dedicated to "Chip's Corner" merchandise, including work shirts, hats and small tools. Construction on the shop is expected to start any day now, so stay tuned.
