Even when Chip and Joanna Gaines leave the South, they take their kindness and Southern hospitality with them. Recently, the sweet couple exhibited these traits on a trip to Minneapolis, while enjoying an evening together at Nolo's Kitchen & Bar.

Even though the two requested a private dining experience, as Minneapolis' Star Tribune reports, they went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly to some fans eager to meet the beloved Fixer Upper stars.

"They definitely had their share of overly friendly patrons that were jumping over to their table trying to get their Instagram photos with them throughout the night," Travis Waltz, Nolo's Kitchen & Bar's beverage director, told the Star Tribune. "They were extremely friendly."

One of these fans (pictured below with Chip and Jo), Rachael Hoff, raved to the Star Tribune about the couple: "They were so genuine and down to earth," Hoff told the news outlet. "When I went to ask them if I could take a picture, Chip was quick to welcome me to sit down next to him. They look and act exactly the way they appear on television. Just amazing people!"

Since Target is headquartered in Minneapolis, it's thought that the Gaineses were in town for meetings to discuss their Hearth & Hand with Magnolia collaboration with the retailer.

So what would you do if you bumped into Chip and Jo at a local restaurant? If you could keep it together and not ask for a quick pic, appetizers on us.
