Chip Gaines' favorite job has nothing to do with home renovation, television or best-selling books—and it certainly doesn't come with a paycheck.

Even though he stands at the helm of an ever-growing business empire, the Fixer Upper star recently revealed that his favorite gig is simply being a dad.

"I really believe that I am the luckiest guy in the world to father these four (soon-to-be five) beautiful babies," Chip recently told Country Living. "Hands down, it's my favorite job of all."

In the days leading up to Father's Day, Chip, who is currently expecting his fifth child with his wife Joanna, said he couldn't help but reminisce about his first holiday as a new dad. "I'll never forget my first Father's Day after our oldest son, Drake, was born," he recalled. "I remember feeling such an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude for being blessed with the gift of fatherhood, and those feelings have only intensified over the years."

Chip said that he also sees the holiday as a chance to celebrate his own father and reflect on their relationship. "My dad taught me about the true value of hard work," the HGTV star shared. "He taught me about the importance of honoring your commitments and pursuing your passions with a sense of tenacity."

Chip added that he hopes to instill the same ideals in his own children.

"I've worked really hard to make these values a part of my daily life not just for me, but for the kids, because I really believe it's less about what you do, and more so how you do it that defines your character," he said. "And I hope to pass all of those things on to our kids—just like my dad did for me."
