Chick-fil-A Is Giving Away Free Entrees Next Week—But There's a Catch
Everybody who wants free Chick-fil-A say "moo!"
Wait… what? Yes, you read that right. Tuesday July 11th is Chick-fil-A's 13th annual Cow Appreciation Day, which the restaurant chain marks by treating devoted diners with free food. Seriously. All you have to do is show up dressed like a cow.
According to a release, the promotion will run at 2,100 restaurants nationwide until 7pm on July 11th only. To qualify, adult customers can dress in any type of cow attire, "whether it's ‘head-to-hoof' or simply sport a cow-spotted accessory." In exchange for putting their best hooves forward, spotted patrons will be rewarded with a free Chick-fil-A entrée. Children who dress in cow costumes will receive a free Kid's Meal.

Chick-fil-A has been celebrating Cow Appreciation Day since 2005, as a way to honor the chain's iconic "Eat Mor Chikin" Cows. Last year, nearly 1.6 million free entrees were given to cow-dressed customers, making it Chick-fil-A's largest, single-day customer appreciation event of the year.
"Every year we are amazed at the number of customers who participate in Cow Appreciation Day," Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A's senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said in a release. "It's a great opportunity for guests to celebrate by exploring our menu – whether they want to try some of our newer menu options, such as our Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich or Egg White Grill, or go with a classic like our Original Chicken Sandwich or Chicken Biscuit."
