As mama always said, some days, we could lose our heads if they weren't attached to our shoulders. So we can all identify with teacher Lindsey Jones who left her purse at a Lubbock, Texas Chick-fil-A...and only realized it when she was three hours away in Abilene.

Living up to their "it's our pleasure to serve you" reputation, the staff at the Lubbock Chick-fil-A made sure this story had a happy ending, though. As Houston's ABC 13 reported, when Jones realized her purse was missing she called the store to alert them of the issue: "I was working drive-thru and heard the phone ring, and [Jones] was kind of frantic saying she was like three hours away and she left her purse here," said Darcey Cuellar, director of hospitality.

Rather than take her up on the offer to pay, the thoughtful employees decided to do everything in their power to brighten a customer's otherwise crummy day. Loading up a package with gift cards and stuffed "Eat Mor Chikin" cow mascots, the staff overnighted her purse so Jones could have her belongings back as soon as possible Saturday morning.

"This situation completely restored my faith in humanity! Not only was my purse found by good, honest people, but they also went above and beyond to help fix a problem that was 1000% my fault to begin with!" Jones wrote of the heartwarming gesture.

So far, the post has racked up 3,400+ likes and 1,200+ shares on Facebook. We certainly hope this sort of kindness is contagious off the social network platform and that we all remember the power of paying it forward whenever we can.
