Spending time at Charleston International Airport just got more enjoyable thanks to its new Musical Ambassador Program.

The program reportedly comes on the heels of a successful live music effort rolled out during the December 2017 holidays. Kicking things off officially on Thursday was Braden Kershner of the Black Tie Music Academy. Kershner and other musical acts can be found in areas around the airport through the summer.

“Whether passengers are traveling for business or for leisure, we want anyone who visits the airport to have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Live music will help us do that by creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for travelers,” Paul G. Campbell Jr., executive director and CEO of the Charleston County Aviation Authority said in a statement.

If you are flying with us today, stop by the #iflyCHS Central Hall and listen to Braeden Kershner on the piano. He’s taking requests until 1:30 pm.
