"We are working on an interesting project that required me to assemble my favorite books. I can't find my copy of A Childhood by Harry Crews or Last Train to Paradise by Les Strandiford, but I think this covers everything else," the woodworking pro and TV star captioned a photo on instagram yesterday.
Among the titles, some Southern favorites immediately caught our eye, like Mark Childress' One Mississippi, Tom Franklin's Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter, and William Faulkner's first published novel, Soldiers' Pay.
Fun fact: In the comments section of the post, when one fan wrote, "I'm a little surprised there is no Steinbeck," his wife Erin revealed, "he had to read the grapes of wrath like 10x in high school because they moved so much."
