Candace Cameron Bure and Joanna Gaines Hang in Waco and Exchange Their New Children's Books

Well here's a get-together we wish we could have crashed: In late January, Candace Cameron Bure paid a visit to Waco, Texas, and spent some quality time with Joanna Gaines.

In addition to both being born a few years apart and parents to several kids each, they both also recently released children's books. In Gaines' case, the Waco Wonder Woman scribed We Are the Gardeners with her children, while Cameron Bure penned Grow, Candace, Grow. Clearly, the duo had much to talk about in their Waco hangout session.

"I really wanted to make a 'Fixer Upper' pun, but I can't think of one. Regardless, it was an absolute pleasure meeting this boss woman @joannagaines. We talked schedules, business ventures, goats, children's books and gardening," Cameron Bure wrote in a recent Instagram post of their meetup. "'Impressed' doesn't begin to describe my admiration for this family. It's Chip & Joanna's world here in Waco, and we're just visiting it." In the post, Bure shares several photos of them together in what appears to be a residential or (very beautifully designed) office setting, along with a short video. Fans of Cameron Bure's were thrilled to see these women spending quality time together with commenters quipping,"Two of my favorite boss ladies!" and "The two people I want to meet most in the world in one place!" If only we could have been a fly on the wall for this one, dear readers.
