The overwhelming response to the news that Cadbury selected an exquisitely wrinkled English bulldog to be their newest Easter bunny has inspired the candy brand to release Henri’s commercial early!

Henri was crowned the winner of Cadbury’s first-ever “Bunny Tryouts” last week, following a nationwide search. According to a news release, the Clucking Bunny commercial starring the portly 18-month-old pup from Wilmington, North Carolina, was originally set to air later in April. Luckily for us, the public’s adoration for Henri led Cadbury to expedite it. Fans can see his commercial online now, and on national television beginning in early April.

Cadbury further sweetened the deal by releasing behind-the-scenes footage of Henri’s adorable on-screen debut. Warning: snoring and belly scratches included.

“We’re ecstatic by the level of support we have received from fans across the country who followed the ‘Bunny’ Tryouts this Easter season,” Katrina Vatter, Marketing Team Member, Cadbury US brand, said in a release. “Henri was a natural in front of the camera when we filmed the commercial, and we could really see his personality shine as he gave us his best Clucking ‘Bunny’ impression.”
