Girlfriend getaway to Georgia in 2021? Texas Buc-ee's fans are sure going to want to head East since the beloved Texas convenience store brand's first location in the state of Georgia is slated to open in Warner Robins in early 2021.

According to a company press release, ground-breaking for the new 53,000-square-foot travel center will occur next Monday, November 18th. Earlier this year, Buc-ee's welcomed its first location outside of Texas in Robertsdale, Alabama. Like other Buc-ee's outposts, the Georgia debut will peddle Texas barbecue, Beaver nuggets, and baked goods with the uber-clean bathrooms and friendly staff the company is known for around the Lone Star State.

"We're excited to break ground in Warner Robins and provide people with a world-class option for their travel needs along the highway. Warner Robins is one of the fastest growing cities in Georgia, and we are hoping to support the military community at nearby Robins Air Force Base by providing quality jobs with great pay, full benefits, 401k, and three weeks vacation," said Jeff Nadalo of Buc-ee's in the company statement, of the 200 permanent jobs the new store is expected to create. In addition to Georgia, Buc-ee's also has plans to open stores in Florida in the near future.
