Brad Paisley's Free Grocery Store in Nashville to Offer Delivery to Seniors Amidst Coronavirus Outbreak

With devastating tornadoes pummeling down on Nashville earlier this month and the more recent nationwide coronavirus pandemic, March has been a particularly trying time for Music City.

Thankfully many concerned citizens and celebrities alike are stepping up in big ways and small to look after their neighbors. One such model community member is country star Brad Paisley. He helped found free Nashville supermarket, The Store, with his wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley in partnership with Belmont University, and they have announced that the grocer will provide free delivery to senior citizens in certain areas of Nashville to help them avoid going out during the coronavirus outbreak.

"So, in light of changing times, @thestore_nashville is mobilizing delivery of a week’s groceries to our elderly neighbors in Edgehill and Berry Hill on Wednesdays/Thursdays. If anyone needs to be included on this list, we urge them to contact info@thestore.org," he wrote, captioning a short video he posted to Instagram yesterday. "Also we will continue to operate regular hours 1-7 Th/F 11-5 Sat for walk-ins but please bring ID and either proof of income, proof of residence, or statement of unemployment for our recently unemployed neighbors." This month, Paisley isn't the only country star looking after his Nashville neighbors.
