What's the next best thing to watching the Solar Eclipse live in Nashville? Probably celebrating with revelers along Broadway after the highly anticipated cosmic occurrence wowed thousands.

Well, we can't help you parade through downtown Music City if you're not there already. But, if you're looking for an uplifting consolation prize beyond being at the eclipse in real life, these amazing photos from the day's events dazzle. Indeed, there were some close calls with the clouds, but the breathtaking views were as epic as CMA Fest, but "in just like 96 seconds," to steal a line from Nashville Mayor Megan Barry.

First, here's a neat look at the Eclipse viewing party hosted by the Holiday Inn with Scholastic as part of the culmination event to the "Summer of Smiles" program. The partnership, which was created to help foster and promote children's love for reading also featured "Chocolate Milk Happy Hours" throughout the summer.
