If you have Amazon Prime, you may think free two-day shipping is the best component of membership. While the swift service certainly is convenient, there's a lesser-known perk of Amazon Prime that we're absolutely obsessed with — and you will be, too.

No, it's not access to Prime Video, although that's pretty neat. And it's not free same-day delivery in select cities across America. We're not even talking about Prime Wardrobe, which is also quite the benefit.

The coolest bonus in our eyes? Free books! Not only will you get free books for your Kindle, but you'll get to read them before they're available to the general public. As the policy for Amazon First Reads states on the company's website, "With Amazon Prime (including regular, discounted, free trial, or invitee Amazon Prime memberships), you're automatically eligible for the Amazon First Reads program, and can download one title for free each month, a month before its official release date." You can choose from the monthly picks here.

If you're a bookworm, there's more good news. With Prime Reading, Prime members can choose from 1,000+ books, magazines, comics, and Kindle Singles to read, along with some books with audio from Audible Narration. For those who don't own a Kindle, you can access the content with the Kindle apps for iOS and Android devices.

With so many exciting titles to choose from, we're going to have a hard time settling on where to start, ladies and fellas.
