Alabama Sisters Give Birth on the Same Day for the Second Time in 9 Years
They were even neighbors in the labor and delivery ward!
Mara Meighan and Jennifer Solis are about as in sync as two sisters can be. The Alabama siblings went into labor on the same day and gave birth at nearly the same time at Piedmont Columbus Regional in Columbus, Georgia, last week.
And it's not the first time this has happened. The sisters gave birth at nearly the same time almost 10 years ago too.
This time around, Meighan and Solis, who announced their pregnancies within a week of one another, knew there was a chance their babies would be born around the same time, WTVM reports. But they said never expected them to arrive so close to one another. They were even neighbors in the labor and delivery ward!

"It has brought us way closer than we were before," Meighan told WTVM.
Meighan gave birth to an eight-pound baby girl named Ana Grace, and Solis birthed a healthy seven-pound baby boy named Marco. Both babies and their moms are home and settling into their families.
The sisters told WTVM that they hope that Ana Grace and Marco will grow up to share a special bond. They added that they are not planning to have twin-cousins again.
"I want a girl, but she's done!" said Solis.
