She has written travel and lifestyle articles for 20 years, publishing in Kentucky Living, Georgia Magazine, Country, Southern Living, Long Weekends, Ohio Magazine, and Travel Goods Showcase—a trade publication for the travel goods industry—in the U.S., for DreamScapes Magazine in Canada, and for Luxury Escapes in Australia. Additionally, she contributes to the blog, Real Food TravelerHer writing has led to many cherished experiences and memories, including glacier walking in the foothills of Denali; being a Guardian on an Honor Flight from Louisville, KY to Washington D.C.; interviewing Dolly Parton on four occasions; sailing with Oprah with Holland America Cruises; riding BOLT!, the roller coaster aboard Carnival’s Mardi Gras; and attending the 70th Anniversary Re-Premiere of Gone With the Wind as a panelist on behalf of her book, The Secret of the Belles.
