There are many reasons to own an Instant Pot. But in case you need more convincing, how do perfect hard boiled eggs sound? Imagine the trays of deviled eggs! Imagine the ease! Imagine the fun!

Friends, imagine no more. As TODAY recently pointed out, the Instant Pot is your ally in all of your hard boiling endeavors.

"You can use the rack that comes with the pot or go with a silicone steamer insert. If using the trivet, simply place the eggs on the rack (about six to 10 will fit, depending on the size of your pot); add [one] cup of water to the bottom of the pot and then close the lid and set the pot to high," writes Julie Pennell. In about six minutes, the pressure will reach the right levels, and the eggs will cook in the next five minutes (so they'll be in there for around 11 minutes). When the cycle is complete, take out your eggs and put them into an ice bath to prevent them from continuing to cook.
