I feel like I’ve been searching my entire life for a good pillow. The expensive ones have great intentions. They aim to increase deep sleep, reduce neck and back pain, and maybe even cure that snoring habit (I know, I know—you don’t snore). But of all the pillows I’ve tried, I keep returning to one perfectly fluffy option from my favorite bank-account parasite and yours: Target.

The number one reason you should try Target’s Made By Design Overfilled Pillow is that it’s $5.40. If you’re on the hunt for a better night’s sleep, I think $6 is a worthwhile investment. If things don’t end up panning out, throw it on the guest bed or, better yet, put your sham on it—you know you’ve been meaning to swap that pillow out for a while.

The Overfilled Pillow comes in two sizes: Standard/Queen ($5.40) and King ($9). Both are made for side sleepers and can help keep the head and neck aligned while you snooze, thanks to 7 inches of filling that’s designed to help reduce back and shoulder pain. If you’re looking for down fill, this isn’t your girl. She’s all polyester—no one’s perfect.

There are more than 350 reviews on Made By Design Overfilled Pillows, garnering an average of 4.4 stars and an 88% recommendation rating. Not too bad for a $6 pillow. They’re not hypoallergenic and I think you might have a hard time trying to clean them but, at such a low price point, it's worth a try. Just be sure to report back for the rest of us who are debating if our pillows are really that dirty. (Answer: Yes, they are.)
