Fasten your seat belts, because your next favorite home renovation show is on the way. The DIY Network has given the green light to NASCAR champ Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife, Amy, who will create a brand-new home renovation series. The Earnhardts will star in four half-hour episodes slated to premiere in early 2018, and we’re already looking forward to it.

The Earnhardts are no strangers to green lights. Dale is a third-generation NASCAR champion, which you probably already know. What you may not know, however, is that Amy is a top-notch interior designer and that Dale has a knack for home improvement. Together, the duo will work to reimagine and reinvigorate a historic home in Old Town, the much-loved historic district on the western end of Key West, Florida. The series will follow their adventures in transforming the home, all with the goal of creating a gorgeous coastal retreat. We can’t wait to see the Key West vistas—talk about a picturesque setting!

“Amy and I are excited to take on our first home renovation project together,” said Dale Jr. “Amy is a fantastic designer. She has creative ideas and a strong work ethic. We love DIY projects around the house, and so I expect this to be challenging but fun.”

Challenging and fun, indeed. There are plenty of home renovation shows out there, but we have a feeling this will be one to add to your weekly lineup. We can’t wait to meet the Earnhardts and watch them pour their skills and styles into this Key West renovation—not to mention the adventures (and hijinks) that are sure to ensue. We’re sure it will be a must-watch when it premieres in 2018.
