Reba’s Former Home Is Back On The Market – And You Must See Inside
It came as a pleasant surprise to many country fans when Reba McEntire's former estate – known affectionately as Starstruck Farms – went back on the market after being purchased by Paul H. Burch earlier this summer. Although Burch kept most of the 83-acre plot for a proposed subdivision, a 10-acre portion that includes the home where the Fancy star used to reside (and pool house, tennis courts, and barn!) went back on sale in September 2017 for a cool $2.95 million. The lakefront paradise is located at 175 Cherokee Dock Road in Lebanon, Tennessee and is listed with Fiona King of Worth Properties LLC. With dreamy scenic views, 7 bedrooms, a to-die-for wine cellar, and a private movie theater – we know this gorgeous property will go quickly.
Starstruck Farms, Reba's former homestead, is a lush Tennessee waterfront paradise. Located on the Cumberland River, the estate has a private park with landscaped paths, an 8-car detached garage, a tennis court, a playground, and plenty of room for you to host every person you've ever met in true Southern fashion.
Welcome to absolute luxury! The front of this stunning estate has a rich wooden door frame, stately white columns, and a tiered outdoor chandelier.
The Grand Entry
Pardon the play on words, but guests would be absolutely starstruck to walk into an entry like this marble-tiled fantasy. The foyer has floor-to-ceiling custom picture windows, a cantilever spiral staircase, deep crown molding, and an impressive chandelier with medallion. Wipe your feet, please!
The Living Room
This unfurnished space is the blank decorating canvas we've been looking for! With floor-to-ceiling double pane windows, this room is flooded with natural light and plenty of potential. The living room has hand-crafted coffered ceilings, a five-foot-wide fireplace with a limestone mantel, custom plush pile carpet, and an incredible scenic view of the water.
The Bar Area
The expansive living room is 32 feet by 21 feet – so of course there's a bar area attached. This party hostess' dream spot has a custom walnut bar with granite countertop, two alabaster chandeliers and a custom suspended wine rack. Can we be invited to the next soiree, please?
Blonde maple floors and granite countertops? Count us in! This extravagant kitchen – which is the ideal spot for whipping up all of your party favorites just in time for Christmas – has custom cabinetry, under-counter lighting, an island with seating for 6, two dishwashers, a 60"-wide double convection oven, and a 36" refrigerator with a cabinet front. Off of the kitchen, you'll find a quaint breakfast room with a triple-sided wood-burning fireplace, conical ceiling, and bay of windows.
The Dining Room
You could host the President in this formal dining area with its elegant touches. The room has a triple-sided wood-burning fireplace with hand-hewn limestone, a built-in china cabinet for all of Mama's vintage dishes, two alabaster and bronze chandeliers, and ambient recessed lighting.
We're ready to fill this room with all of our favorite Southern authors! Pull up a plush red armchair and sit awhile in this book-lover's paradise. The home's library has oak hardwood floors in a basket-weave pattern, handmade walnut bookshelves with pebbled glass doors, a ventless fireplace with a limestone hearth, and French doors out to the terrace.
Anyone up for reruns of Reba? Take a seat in this sound-proofed room, complete with three-tiered stadium seating, to experience the full movie theater experience without ever leaving your house.
The Wine Cellar
We're sold. This 16-foot refrigerated space is dedicated soley to keeping our beloved bottles of vino safe. The wine cellar has a tile floor, custom shelving with space for both single bottles and wine cases, walnut cabinetry with a marble countertop, and a custom wine glass rack. We'll meet you in the cellar – all sommeliers welcome.
The Barn (& Guest Flat!)
If the home itself isn't enough to sell you, the property also hosts a five-stall working barn for all of your horses. The barn has sliding wood and iron barn doors, rubber matting throughout, and Dutch exterior and iron weave stall doors. The space also has a tack room, feed room, office, and fenced paddock. Attached to the barn is a guest flat – the perfect spot for family to stay over the winter holidays. This space has a full kitchen with maple cabinets, a full bathroom with double vanity, and a bedroom with balcony access and a walk-in closet.
Is it any wonder that Reba's former home has a guitar-shaped pool? Take a plunge into this calming retreat with its saltwater pool, waterfall, and spa. The stone terrace also has a raised fire pit with glass coals that we'd love to roast a few marshmallows over on a crisp October evening.
The Pool House
Step out of the hot Southern sun into this private pool house and grab another margarita. This windowed space has beautiful stone floors, two full bathrooms, a vaulted ceiling with cedar paneling, a wet bar, French doors, and an outdoor sound system.
A Bird's Eye View
Starstruck Farms is just as marvelous from the sky as it is on the ground.
