It's winter. And while the weather outside may be frightful, that firepit is so delightful.  While some people may want a sizable firepit like this combined coffee table and outdoor firepit, others might be looking for something a little more compact and affordable than some of the more deluxe firepits on the market.

That's why we were so glad to read this piece on Apartment Therapy praising this Wave Table Top Fire Bowl available on Target for $47.49.  As writer Olivia Harvey points out in the article, this firepit practically doubles as a work of art thanks to its pleasing design.  This outdoor piece keeps you and loved ones warm within a four-foot radius when lit, and looks equal parts elegant and zen when it's not in use. The 11-pound firepit is easy to move around and uses gel fuel as its power source.

Looking to overhaul your porch to make it more inviting than ever? Check out these 80 breezes porches and patios for some inspiration. When the weather is amenable, and along with the warmth of this firepit, we promise you'll love spending more time than ever relaxing with friends and family outside. Bonus: You can even use this handy firepit to make some s'mores.

Now that we're daydreaming of gathering around to watch the sunset and eat toasty s'mores on our porch, we may be in the market for some more extra warm outdoor blankets to toss over our patio furniture, too.

We'd love to hear from you: What's your favorite way to upgrade your porch decor in the winter? Do you have a firepit? Or do you prefer to spend winter evenings plopped on your couch in the comfort of your living room? We used to be all about that couch-side lazing, but this firepit could very well take us over to the other side (of the door).
