Watercolors of Elbow Cay, Eleuthera, and Harbour Island are framed with mats in complementary colors. Rattan beds and baskets add a natural island vibe. 43 of 43 Go Bold With Nautical Wallpaper Photo: David A. Land; styling: Martha Bernabe This soft, vintage-inspired bedroom is a "graceful reminder of the home's history," says designer Alys Protzman, who brought the historic Cape Cod cottage back to life with bold pops of yellow in nearly every space. In this bedroom however, the signature hue was reserved as an accent after the designer and her sister (the homeowner) decided to keep the room's existing slate blue sailboat wallpaper. A white spindle bed, antique jug-turned-lamp, and old high chair that acts as a creative nightstand add a low-maintenance and cozy feel. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
