Clint Harp Lists His Unforgettable Home from Fixer Upper Season 1
One of the most iconic homes in Fixer Upper history is for sale!
The one-and-only Harp House from season one (you know, the one that got us all hooked on the HGTV series) recently hit the market in Waco, Texas.
In the show's sixth episode, Magnolia carpenter Clint Harp purchased the ramshackle historic home next door to his woodworking shop for just $10,000. Chip and Joanna Gaines took the crumbling, garbage-filled structure and stripped it down to its bones, saving only a few floor planks. With hard work, sweat, and some tears—plus furniture and custom built-ins made by Clint himself—the transformation was truly incredible.
"The Harps had a ball teaming up with Chip and Joanna Gaines designing, restoring and bringing this gem of a home built in 1913 back to all its splendor," the listing boasts.
Harp and his family lived in the 2,738-square-foot, five-bedroom house from 2014-2016 before converting it into a rental property.
Today, it is listed by Martha Kate Gunn of Camille Johnson Realtors for $899,000. The price includes all furniture and furnishings in the home, all the way down to the towels and linens. But, if you ask us, the Harp House's real treasures can be found in the kitchen, which features a large island, vent hood, and breakfast table all built by Clint and his crew.
