Style expert Eddie Ross explores the World's Longest Yard Sale stretching from Michigan all the way to Alabama along the 127 Corridor.
[MUSIC] Hi, I'm Andy Rosen, I am here at the world's longest yard sale. We have so many miles to cover, I cannot wait to get started. The longest yard sale happens the first weekend in August every year. It goes all the way from Michigan, all the way down to Alabama. You can find everything you could possibly imagine, a I love my mom mug, all the way to a gorgeous french piece of furniture. You never know what you're going to find behind each door. Yard sales and flea markets can be super overwhelming. But, you know, you have to know what you like, and you have to be able to dig through a bunch of garbage, in order to find that needle in a haystack. The thing that's so great about yard sales is, it's so true, it's such a cliche, but one man's trash is another man's treasure. What can you do for the pair of these? And along the corridor of 127, there's so many people just putting out their wares, things that they collect over time, things that they're cleaning out their houses, along with some great vendors that do this too, real collectors of fine things. So it's a real great mix from one end of the spectrum to the other, you have high end to low end. I love when they take credit cards because then you don't need to keep going to the ATM. [MUSIC]
