Tour the powder room of the 2010 Louisiana Idea House with designers Grace Kaynor and Vesta Fort.
[MUSIC] I feel like the powder room really epitomizes, the global feeling that we were going for throughout the house. We used Anita Croslin who's a very famous London designer, English designer. We used a motif from one of her fabrics and we used it as a jumping off point to create the beautiful trellis pattern in the wall. We chose a real warm pink that has a touch of orange for the ground color, and accented it with rust painting and then a wash over top. Then we took a very kind of interesting gilded twig mirror and placed it as the mirror above the vanity. [MUSIC] We paired it with some dark iron scrolling sconces which we, really think work with the scrolling motif on the walls. The curved Bombay vanity chest in the powder room [MUSIC] Really works with the curves of the scrolling motif on the walls. The paper mache waste basket with the scrolling motif is very Moroccan in feel. The powder room is a little jewel box and the perfect place to freshen up.
