A Kentucky Derby Soiree
Kentucky Derby Party Inspiration
Katherine Veitschegger of Events by Katherine V in Bowling Green, Kentucky styled this derby day soiree with a nod to the late 1920s and early 1930s. Burlap, lace, red roses, and burnished antiques set the tone for a Kentucky Derby party for two.
Here, model Jessie Powell is sitting pretty in Shoshanna’s White Day Dress. A cloche and vintage-inspired shoes by ModCloth complete the look.

The Table
To create an elegantly rustic table, Katherine layered luxe lace and more organic burlap from La Tavola Linen. A floral runner by Terry Donnelly of TLD Designs gives a dose of opulence. Flatware from Liberty Party Rental provides just a bit of sparkle.
