Halloween Cat Wreath
Materials
-1 giant chenille stem (6.5ft) black found at craft store.
-1 8.8” round styrofoam wreath form
-1 11.8” round styrofoam wreath form
-10 sheets of felt in various seasonal colors
-Piece of yarn
-2 black pipe cleaners (regular size chenille stem)
Cut each piece of felt length-wise into approximately 7 strips (1 ¼” x 12”).

Step 1
Tie each strip (alternating designs/colors) around both wreaths, overlapping a bit so that the white foam doesn’t show.

Step 2
Cut 2, 14” pieces of chenille to form cat's ears. Take chenille piece, fold in thirds, twist bottom end and wrap with a black pipe cleaner. Shape into ear by pressing sides together and forming a point at the top.

Step 3
Unfold the remaining piece of Chenille and free-form shape into a cat’s tail. Wrap one end around the larger wreath near the lower half.

Step 4
Connect wreaths with a piece of orange felt, allowing movement between the 2 wreaths. Attach the ears by wrapping the pipe cleaner around the top wreath, placing approximately 4 inches apart.
