Here are the opulent light displays and Christmas activities you won't want to miss. 01 of 04 Cheekwood's Holiday Lights Seth McGaha The light display at Cheekwood Mansion might be the most magical of all of theNashville Christmas events. Take a stroll along the mile-long walking path strung with 1 million lights. Sip on hot chocolate, roast marshmallows over the fire, sing along with carolers, and greet visiting reindeer Jolly and Nick. If you're good, you might even catch a glimpse of Santa. 02 of 04 Gaylord Opryland 's Christmas Lights Gaylord Opryland/FUJIFILM North America Corporation Around the holidays, Marriott's Gaylord Opryland Resort hosts Nashville's largest and most opulent light display. There are more than 4 million lights displayed around every corner of the property, but for some the real draw will be 1,000 tons of ice carved into scenes from the TV classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. There's something for everyone at this resort: Guests can also whoop their way down two-story ice slides, see musical performances, hop on a riverboat cruise or carriage ride, and go ice tubing or ice skating. 03 of 04 The Dancing Lights of Christmas Courtesy of Dancing Lights of Christmas The Dancing Lights of Christmas at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in nearby Lebanon is Central Tennessee's largest drive-thru holiday light and music show.
