Vintage Farm Wedding
The Proposal
Annie Sims was a little afraid of how boyfriend Mat Kearney, a musician with a big personality, would propose. “I thought it might be something huge, but instead he got down on his knee in his bedroom one night while I was helping him pack for a trip,” she recalls. “It was very simple and personal.” After two years together, the pair began planning for the wedding the very next day. “We knew we wanted to put our own spin on a classic Southern wedding with the traditional elements,” she says of their Tennessee farm affair that was held in a barn and accented with charming vintage touches.
