Their Inspiration

City-dwellers Jessica Glenn and Eric Hallstrom envisioned a quiet, historic location for their June wedding. “I grew up in an old house, so it immediately felt like home,” says Jessica of The Inn at Vaucluse Spring, where she and Eric hosted 120 friends and family members after being wed by Eric’s father. “The house has an old-world feel, and we loved the natural beauty of the rolling hills surrounding it,” she says.

Wedding Music

Following a European tradition, Jessica and Eric had a band, Raya Brass, lead guests from the cocktail hour to dinner (which was near the main house at the inn) while playing Balkan gypsy music. “Eric and I held hands and walked behind the musicians, and all our family and friends followed behind, laughing and dancing,” says Jessica. “It was Eric’s idea, and it was really magical.”
