You Will Follow Me
Nothing in this world lasts forever, with the possible exception of the yappy dog next door barking under your bedroom window. And so it is with “The Daily South,” that ground-breaking digital forum launched (I have no idea when) with the mission of keeping you up-to-date with the latest gastronomical, architectural, cultural, fashion and beauty, travel, and – most importantly – gardening news happening in the South. Beginning on (I have no idea when), “The Daily South” will no longer exist as a stand-alone entity in the blogosphere, but will merge with its sister website, southernliving.com.
Naturally, this news is quite traumatic to the many thousands of you all over the Earth and quite possibly Titan, Saturn’s largest moon, who follow “The Grumpy Gardener” on “The Daily South.” “Is ‘The Grumpy Gardener’ going away too?” you ask with great apprehension. “I need my daily Grumpy fix just as much as my flowers need water and Grumpy needs beer.”

Do not fret. Grumpy’s columns will still appear with the same frequency and unparalleled wit and wisdom. To find them, just type southernliving.com/garden/grumpy-gardener into your browser and hit, “enter.” Your smile with light up the room.
To sum up, wherever Grumpy goes, you go also – a happy thought never better expressed than in the lyrics of this 1963 hit song by Little Peggy March:
Love him, I love him, I love him
And where he goes I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow
I will follow him, follow him wherever he may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep me away
