Sadly, no amount of desperate pleading seems able to convince Chick-fil-A to bring the quirky salad back. Heck, we even tried! Chick-fil-A, Inc. But there is good news. If you live in the Atlanta area, you can still get your hands on the Truett Cathy creation at Chick-fil-A's heritage restaurant concepts, Truett's Grill and Dwarf House. For the rest of us, we'll just have to rely on some good old-fashioned elbow grease. Fortunately, Chick-fil-A was kind enough to share its easy recipe for the Carrot & Raisin Salad online, so you can recreate it at home. CHICK-FIL-A'S CARROT & RAISIN SALAD (Makes 13-14 servings) 4 1/2 cups shredded carrots1 (8oz) can or 2/3 cups crushed, unstrained pineapple3/4 cup raisins1/2 cup mayonnaise1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons sugar1 1/4 tablespoons fresh, unstrained lemon juice (no seeds) Simply mix all ingredients together and enjoy!
