People Are Making Chick-fil-A Crunchwraps On TikTok—And It Might Be the Internet's Tastiest Trend Yet

We’re sold.

It's no secret that Southerners love Chick-fil-A—so much so that we try to get our hands on any copycat recipe we can, from the sorely missed coleslaw to the perfect Chick-fil-A sandwich. Recently, people on popular social media app TikTok have taken the Chick-fil-A obsession even further, with a fast food mashup that we never knew we needed. Meet the Internet's newest trend, the Chick-fil-A Crunchwrap.

The recipe is inspired by Taco Bell's crunchy take on a burrito, which typically involves layers of cheese, meat, and sauces between both soft and hard tortillas. The layers are folded into a flat, roundish burrito that is then toasted in a skillet until both sides are golden brown. The Chick-fil-A version of a Crunchwrap that's trending on TikTok involves the same process but only uses ingredients found in a Chick-fil-A meal, plus the tortillas.

In the TikTok video that started the trend, a large tortilla is layered with Chick-fil-A's macaroni and cheese, waffle fries, and chicken sandwich filet sans bun, all drizzled with packets of Chick-fil-A's Zesty Buffalo and Garlic Herb Ranch sauces. There is both another hard and soft tortilla incorporated into the layers before folding and toasting. It's finished with extra drizzles of sauce for good measure. You can watch the whole tasty scenario go down in this video. Drool alert.

While the Chick-fil-A Crunchwrap certainly seems carb-loaded, it's hard not to immediately start driving to the nearest franchise to make one for yourself, which is exactly what Chef Nicole of Mom Versus did here, with pleasure and a rave review. Though some commenters on the original TikTok video were split on their opinions concerning the mashup—from saying it seems like way too much work to dubbing it the most genius thing ever—others were quick to make it their own, with one Chick-fil-A lover personalizing it with a spicy chicken sandwich filet and tangy Chick-fil-A sauce in lieu of buffalo and ranch, as well as extra cheese layered before an entire side of Chick-fil-A's macaroni and cheese. All we can say? Yum. You can watch that delicious video here.

Much like the smoked queso trend on TikTok, this one might be worth the hype. Just make sure to get extra sauce for dipping, obviously.

One thing we know for certain is that trend or no trend, odds are we'll still be pulling through a Chick-fil-A drive-thru this week.
