Head to Krispy Kreme This Friday for a Free Doughnut

It seems like every day is the "National Day of…" insert any food item here. And we will admit, we don't pay that much attention. Who could keep up with every single one? But we would be lying if we said we didn't have National Doughnut Day marked on the calendar.

This year to help mark the occasion, which is on June 3, Krispy Kreme is giving out a free doughnut of choice to any and all who celebrate this national holiday. That's right, doughnut of your choice! While we love the Original Glazed version, we occasionally have a hankering for their chocolate glazed, caramel glazed, and the Reese's classic, and don't get us started on our love for the piña colada or key lime varieties, which tastes like a much-needed island vacation.

Perhaps the best part of the chain's National Doughnut Day celebration is that Krispy Kreme isn't requiring a purchase to take part in this very "Sweet New Deal." Just roll up to your local outpost on Friday, June 3 and make your selection. (Perhaps a s'mores doughnut with real Hershey's chocolate?) Of course, it may be hard to resist adding a few Original Glazed to your order as they will only be $1 per dozen when you purchase a different dozen.
