Silicone Muffin Cups

I love baking muffins, cupcakes, and even egg soufflés—that is, until I get to the cleanup. The choice is either scrape remnants out of my muffin pan or use paper liners that will inevitably get stuck to the food. Now, thanks to The Boston Sweets Silicone Cupcake Liners, I don't have to do either. I'm not quite sure how I ever baked without them.

You can order a pack of 24 silicone liners in a variety of eight colors on Amazon for $9.99. Although they cost a little more than the traditional paper liners, they're worth it because you can use them over and over again. They're dishwasher safe so cleanup will be a breeze, and they're also freezer and microwave safe. Since they're reusable, you'll never have to worry about running out of liners in the middle of baking a batch of cupcakes, and you'll always have them on hand for those late night baking sessions. The liners are also strong enough to stand on their own, so it's not necessary to use a muffin pan.

Although they're perfect for cupcakes, silcone liners have lots of other uses that you might not have thought of. In addition to using them or anything you would use your classic muffin pan for, use them to create mini, freezable portions of soup or oatmeal. Simply freeze in the liners and transport to a zip-top freezer bag once full frozen. Pop a few out of the freezer at a time for perfect portion size every time.

They also make a great hostess or birthday gift for cooking and baking enthusiasts. Although it seems so simple, you'll want to make sure you spread the news of this helpful kitchen tool to your family and friends.
