How to Fold a Napkin for a Wine Glass

Just because you want a fancy folded napkin doesn't mean you have to cover up your fine china. Try this easy fold that fits right in your wine glass.

Step 1

Start out with a square cloth napkin laid out flat.

Take the top corners and pull down to fold the square in half.

Fold the the napkin (now a rectangle) in half from left to make a square.

Grab the right corner and fold the top layer across to the upper left corner.

Flip your napkin over, and pull the remaining layer down on the opposite side to form a triangle.

Fold the napkin (now a triangle) in half.

Take the top two layers of the corner and pull it over past the center, and then fold it back on itself.

Flip the napkin over and do the same tri-fold to the other side.

Place napkin in a wine glass keeping the folds intact.

Spread apart the two leaves on either side of the center piece.
