This No-Bake Easy Apple Crisp Recipe is Ready in 10

The secret to our fastest-ever crisp is cooking it on the stovetop.
Start with two peeled and sliced Honeycrisp apples. Honeycrisp are ideal for this recipe because they're soft, sweet, and pack delicious fall flavor. After you've melted 3 tablespoons of salted butter in a large skillet, add the apples. Allow them to cook until they're beginning to soften (about 3 minutes). Resist the urge to stir them constantly. Instead, just give them one good stir then let them do their thing. After they've started to soften sprinkle the apples with brown sugar and cinnamon—this is when your kitchen will start smelling delicious. Cook until the apples are tender and the sugar has completely melted. There shouldn't be any graininess to the syrup.
Whisk together a teaspoon of flour and a third cup apple cider. Add to the skillet, stirring constantly for about 1 minute. The flour and cider mixture will act as a thickening agent.
Divide the sautéed apples between four bowls and top each serving with a sprinkle of maple-pecan granola and a scoop of cinnamon ice cream. Vanilla will also work if you can't find cinnamon ice cream.
