What condiment are you craziest for?

Sauces, sauces on the chicken nugget-splattered wall, which is fairest of them all? Well, out of Chick-fil-A's robust sauce lineup, the most popular sauce across the country is — did you guess it? — Chick-fil-A sauce. When you look at the most popular condiments after the namesake option, however, some interesting results emerge.

In a new blog post on Chick-fil-A's The Chicken Wire, the Atlanta-based chain restaurant examined the most popular sauces in every part of the nation, and you may surprised at how things panned out on a regional basis. First, a brief refresher on Chick-fil-A's sauce offerings: Polynesian Sauce, Honey Mustard Sauce, Garlic & Herb Ranch Sauce, Zesty Buffalo Sauce, Barbecue Sauce, Sriracha Sauce, and of course, the prized Chick-fil-A Sauce make up your complete list of options.

So what variety topped the list after Chick-fil-A Sauce? In the Southwest, BBQ sauce reigned supreme. With a long barbecue legacy, we can't say we're surprised. Meanwhile, on the East Coast — from Florida to Maine — Polynesian Sauce ranked #1. (We're licking our fingers for this one, too.) For those in the Midwest, BBQ sauce was also the most popular. Gotta love the 'cue. On the West Coast, Garlic & Herb Ranch Sauce asserted itself as the VIP. Indeed, the tangy sauce is certainly a winner. Our takeaway from all of this?
