October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which means you've probably noticed a host of your favorite products donning pink for the cause, Olay Regenerist Whip among them. There's something special about this cult-favorite moisturizer though—for a limited time, the brand's most advanced whip product will be offered in a limited-edition refillable pink jar with 100 percent of U.S. proceeds going directly to Bright Pink, an organization dedicated to saving lives from both ovarian and breast cancer by encouraging women to take a proactive role in their health.

Olay Regenerist Whip Limited Edition Pink Ribbon Face Moisturizer + Single Use Refill is part of a three-month pilot program that Olay announced earlier this year that aims to reduce the amount of plastic waste created by the beauty industry. Each package comes with a full jar of moisturizer, plus a refill cartridge that is placed directly into the Whip jar once it's empty. Its commitment to Bright Pink, paired with an initiative focused on drastically reducing the amount of plastic waste contributed by the beauty industry makes this is one moisturizer we won't feel guilty about splurging on.

The limited-edition Pink Ribbon moisturizer and refill ($58.99) are available on beginning this month. They'll be shipped and sold in containers comprised of recycled paper in addition to being devoid of an outer carton. Olay doesn't currently have permanent plans to make refillable containers a standard option, though they do plan to use this pilot program as a means to determine packaging moving forward. "This could potentially change the way consumers shop for skincare and create a new industry standard and hope that others in the mass-beauty space will follow," a press release from the brand reads.
