The $6 Blush That’s Been Saved Over 29K Times On Pinterest
But we'll just be adding it straight to our cart
The team at Pinterest recently released their spring 2018 beauty report that outlined a few buzzy products, techniques, and of-the-moment looks that are quickly becoming darlings in the Pin-osphere. We'll graciously let our more adventurous sisters test the waters on those riskier fads (looking at you, cat-eye manicure), but there are a few we're already claiming as our own—including a $6 powder blush that's so pretty it'll make you do a double take.
We've been fans of Milani Cosmetics for a while. Just last year we became converts to the drugstore beauty aisle's blush offerings thanks to Milani's Color Harmony Blush Palette. It was an instant cult classic as far as we were concerned and it seems to be no one-hit-wonder. Enter, our latest Milani obsession, Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose.
The price point can't be beat and the packaging is so darling it's almost painful to run those brush bristles over its Insta-worthy petal motif. You will though, and it'll be worth it. What you'll soon lack in social media fodder will be more than made up for once the color sweeps across your cheeks. Reviewers say the compact is formulated to suit a variety of complexions thanks to silky-smooth application and subtle, buildable color—a lifesaver when your complexion goes from alabaster to bronze once beach season arrives. [Speaking for a friend here, as that's not my fate save for a thrice-yearly spray tan habit.] Somehow the architects behind this trending product managed to create a cheek color that provides an instant glow and luminosity without the shimmer and sparkle that's found in its competitive set. And for that, we're eternally grateful.
One thing we did notice when scanning the reviews on the brand's product page was an overwhelming cry to bring back a shade called Warm Petals. We'll most assuredly jump on that bandwagon. If the available shades still warrant 5-stars while you're actively campaigning to bring another out of retirement, there's a pretty strong likelihood old faithful deserves a spot in our makeup bag too.
