A good foundation is hard to find.

Over the years, I've tried a number of foundations in search of something that would cover up blemishes, even out my skin tone, and give my face a brightness boost—all without making me look like I'd just wandered off the set of Toddlers & Tiaras.

In the past, I've typically opted for powder foundations over liquid foundations, but found that many of them didn't seem to stick around for a full day of wear. On the other hand, I have always been a little wary of liquid foundations, as so many of those seem to be instant pore-cloggers—a recipe for disaster when paired with Southern humidity.

But several months ago, when I was home for a wedding, my mom let me steal a dab of her latest foundation find, and it immediately won me over to the liquid side: IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+. Consider me a convert.

Unlike a lot of the liquid foundations I've tried over the years, this CC+ cream goes on light and blends in evenly, without looking caked on or overdone.

It's a hard worker, too, doing the jobs of 7 different products in just one step: It's a full-coverage foundation, sunscreen, color corrector, concealer, moisturizer, anti-aging serum, and primer, rolled into one. Whew.

Plus, a 1.08-oz. tube will only set you back $38—a real steal when you consider how many products this one replaces, and how little cream is actually required for full-on coverage. In my experience, it only takes a tiny little dollop (not quite even pea-sized!) to cover my entire face. I bought my first tube about 6 months ago and it's still going strong.

But once this tube runs out, I want to try IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination with SPF 50+, which promises the same results as the original CC+ cream but with an additional "lit-from-within glow." Sign. Me. Up.

Of course, I'm not the only one who's discovered the miracle-working magic of this foundation: it's one of IT Cosmetics' bestsellers...a tube of the Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ foundations is sold every minute. How's that for a cult favorite?
