Eric is a journalist and food writer with more than a dozen years of experience. He holds a certificate in documentary arts from Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies in Durham, NC and a bachelor's in history from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. 

Experience

Eric is an experienced food writer, journalist and editor. He co-founded Triad City Beat newspaper in Greensboro, NC in 2014, later serving as the weekly paper's food writer and managing editor. More recently, he acted as interim news editor at INDY Week newspaper in Durham, NC. He's written for a wide range of publications, including Bon Appétit, Serious Eats, VICE, Wine Enthusiast, The Infatuation, Edible Brooklyn, Eater Carolinas, Life & Thyme, Local Palate and Vegetarian Times, among others.
