Atlanta's First Pop-Up Christmas Bar Is Serving Up the Holiday Cheer
This sounds worth a visit!
Who says Christmas is just for kids? The folks behind Miracle on Monroe, Atlanta’s first pop-up Christmas cocktail bar, certainly don’t!
The concept was born in New York City back in 2014, and has since spread across a handful of U.S. cities, including Atlanta. For a month leading up to Christmas, Tapa Tapa at the Midtown Promenade is transformed into a winter wonderland complete with glittery vintage decor, a 10-foot Christmas tree, holiday music, a menu of delicious seasonal drinks and good cheer by the cup (or two.)
With help from his special bartending elves, Santa’s even serving up live music, movie screenings and snacks. There’s just one rule: no Grinches allowed.
Libations here include cozy creations like the Blazen Blitzen (gin, pine liqueur, vanilla syrup, lime juice, mint, club soda), the Muletide (Linie Aquavit, Oloroso Sherry, ginger syrup, lime juice, pumpkin pie soda) and the signature Snowball cocktail served in a “Santa pants” mug.
Miracle on Monroe is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, up to and including Christmas Eve. So head on down and have a cup of good cheer!
