Walter Anderson Museum of Art While the pieces hanging at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art are not for sale, you can take home a treasure from the museum's gift shop, part of the newly constructed pavilion added this year. Hillyer House The 43-year-old mainstay is a hub for Southern art, showcasing work by more than 400 craftspeople. Buddyrow Opened last year, this vintage shop offers collectibles such as Georges Briard cocktail glasses and Churchill fedoras. For modern-day finds, check out the owner's line of jewels, State of Grace, with pieces such as 12-strand pearl necklaces. 619 Washington Avenue; 228/369-9414

Chandeleur Outfitters You'll recognize this outdoor outfitter by the painting of a fly-fisherman out front. The owner, Rob Recio, and his wife, Carla, transformed the former bait-and-tackle shop into an outerwear store that carries everything from North Face fleeces to polarized sunglasses and sporty-yet-chic dresses for outdoor enthusiasts. 1106 Government Street; 228/818-0030

Lee Tracy Philanthropy and style intersect at this boutique that pleases both teens and moms with trendy and classic lines.
