Think You Can Dance? Then Apply for a Job at This Texas Christmas Store
It's hiring people for their dance moves
Want to work at The Ugly Christmas Sweater Shop in Dallas, Texas? Then you better start perfecting your dance moves, stat.
According to ABC affiliate WFAA in Dallas, the owner of the holiday pop-up shop asked applicants to submit a video of their best dance moves along with their resume.
"We found a lot of great people that way," said shop owner Jeremy Turner. "All you had to do was dance. It showed us you were willing to have fun."
Turner said he received dozens of videos, including one from a 69-year-old retired teacher who was hired on the spot.
For Turner, running an annual holiday pop-up shop is a dream job. He started the business a few years ago, and now has more than 10,000 vintage sweaters in stock. His company recently expanded to Fort Worth and Fresno.
"I love Christmas," he said. "I'm into authentic sweaters. These were never intended to be ugly, they were intended to be pretty."
Ultimately, Turner just wants to create an environment full of people who are just as "hyper" and "crazy" about Christmas as he is.
Hmm, we're wondering if Tennessee-based YouTuber Preston Leatherman whose "All I Want for Christmas Is You" video went viral in 2011 needs a job…
