Step aside peas and carrots, there's a new match made in heaven that's got our hearts working overtime: UPS drivers and dogs. That's right, thanks to the Facebook page UPS DOGS, we're officially hooked on a treat we never knew we needed.

The page was started five years ago by Sean McCarren, a UPS driver of 17 years, as a way for his fellow boys (and girls) in brown to share photos of the pups they interact on their routes. Now, with close to 300,000 followers, it's a dog-lover's paradise poised to take over the social media world.

In a recent interview with Buzzfeed News, McCarren explained that the dogs are one of the best perks of the job. He said that many drivers take breaks to play with the dogs that run out to their trucks and greet them at front doors.

"I wish we could just hang out with the families and their dogs all day, but it's just not feasible," McCarren said.

McCarren is the main moderator of the page, but he accepts doggy contributions from UPS drivers all over the country, which helps keep his fans' feeds flush with wet noses.

UPS DOGS isn't affiliated with UPS, although the corporate bigwigs reportedly give it two enthusiastic paws up.

"Yes, we are aware of that site," a UPS spokesperson told BuzzFeed News. "It's a good example of the relationships our employees build with their customers, two- or four-legged!"

So… new career path?
