It doesn't get much better than cute puppies. And while iPhone photography may capture the bulk of your pets' cuteness, a professional photographer really takes things to the next level.

Davis Smith, of Clemson, South Carolina, clearly agrees. He recently hired a pro to document Molly, his dashing golden retriever puppy. The 23-year-old gave the endearing gig to Chasity Lollis of Lollis Photography, who aced the shoot with flying colors.

In a tweet that has since gone viral with over 363,773 likes and counting, he defends his decision to arrange a photo shoot for his darling Molly:

Since the post, floored animal lovers have also taken to their Twitter handles to offer words of encouragement ("this is the type of man I need in my life"), a slew of cuddly pup photos, and even marriage proposals to the young Southerner.

"I'm not even joking, when I have to discipline her, when I walk away, my heart's broken," he told ABC News of Molly. "We've had dogs my whole life, I've loved dogs my whole life, but I never knew I'd love her so much, so fast, enough to hire a photographer." Now, Mr. Smith, can you invite us next time?
